A Vibrant Vision for a Master Bathroom
After the successful renovation of her colorful kitchen, our client invited us back to breathe new life into the second floor of her home. The focal point of the renovation was the master ensuite bathroom, which initially felt small and outdated. By removing the wall between the closet and the bathroom, we created a spacious layout centered around a unique, fire-engine red bathtub. This stunning piece became the cornerstone of the design, complemented by calming white tiles, red accents, and a custom vanity. The result was a vibrant yet tranquil space that the client affectionately calls her “Happy Bathroom.”
Practical Solutions for Enhanced Living
To better utilize space and improve functionality, the original cramped walk-in closet was relocated to a vacant bedroom, transforming it into a spacious custom-built storage solution. This adjustment allowed us to expand the master bathroom and craft a layout that felt both luxurious and practical. Hardwood floors were installed throughout the upper level, adding warmth and continuity. Our design choices ensured that the client’s vision was brought to life, while also providing practical solutions for everyday living.
Accessible and Thoughtful Design for Family Members
A key part of this renovation was creating an accessible bathroom for our client’s aunt, who required special features for ease of use. We removed the original bathtub and replaced it with a spacious, senior-friendly shower stall, complete with grab bars for safety. This thoughtful approach ensured the bathroom was functional without sacrificing style. The collaboration between our team and the client resulted in a beautiful, functional space that meets the needs of every family member.
