  We have loved our home for the last 10 years, but it was time to make some much-needed changes. The layout wasn't maximizing the space, and we found ourselves in one of those 'love it or list it' dilemmas. After researching and meeting with a few renovation companies, we chose to go ahead with Sosna. Their process resonated with us, and we felt they were trustworthy, honest, and reliable.

All of that continued to be true through the process and we witnessed their strong commitment to the project and timelines. Starting with the design phase, we had weekly connects with the designers (Chantal and Daniel) that were fun and stress-free. They understood our style and we felt engaged and heard through the process. Our project was fairly big, involving a new kitchen, laundry room, master bath, and adding a new bedroom in our open-to-above great room. Roman and Vitali oversaw the construction phase, keeping us informed along the way. The house was kept tidy and very clean for a project of this size. They were very respectful of our property and the neighborhood.

During construction, some minor adjustments were needed to the original plans. However, the team handled these with careful consideration and thoughtful decision-making. They were present on-site daily, often putting in extra hours to stay on track. The quality of their workmanship and attention to detail were impeccable.

The results speak for themselves – we couldn't be happier. Sosna's expertise and knowledge shine through in the incredible outcome. Our home feels rejuvenated, reflecting our style and needs, perfectly!

  After a thorough search and meetings with several general contractors, we selected Sosna for our recent main floor renovation and we had an extremely positive reno experience, right from the first introductory meeting. Care, commitment and courtesy characterized our interaction with each team member, from office staff to site crew and tradesmen and company owner. Indeed, Sosna is a general contractor you can count on to manage the whole process well and deliver great quality workmanship on time and on budget.

Our project consisted in renovating the main floor and creating an open concept by removing a structural wall.

We lived in the house and worked from home during the 3 months construction period. The team was very punctual and ensured disturbances were kept to a minimum, keeping us updated on what is going to happen next day and overall status. Everyone coming to the job site showed respect and care for us and for our entire property. The work area was separated with plastic walls from the rest of the house and floor protections were laid out to reduce construction debris and dust; the job site was always thoroughly cleaned at the end of the day.

The designer, Olga, really understood who we are and what we want to achieve, putting together the design and documenting every detail. We loved that she gave us her honest opinion on our wants, and that she balanced our budget with the quality of selected materials. Her design made every inch of our kitchen beautiful and most importantly, very functional!

Gus (site lead) and Davit (site supervisor) were the best you could ask for: skillful, meticulous, finding creative solutions and finishing the smallest details to perfection. They closely worked with every assigned crew member and trade person to ensure the level of workmanship and attention to detail was kept at the highest level. Gus was happy to share with us better ways to maintain our house and the newly introduced finishes. We became so close and appreciated his experience so much that he was the first to call, one late Friday evening, about a heater pipe burst, not related to the reno. Gus answered our call and kindly walked us though the temporary mending process, then arranged for the additional work to be done by the plumber ASAP. We saw first-hand the care and pride he put in his work, and the patience with us; we will be forever thankful.

Roman (project manager) visited the site often and intervened as needed to ensure the few issues that came up during construction were quickly resolved to our satisfaction. Even though we were in the final days of detailing when we mentioned we weren't 100% in love with the way the mudroom sink looked, Roman and Gus discussed an alternate solution and moved the sink (less than 1”!) and redid the back wall. It looks perfect!

We’ve been enjoying our “new” 80s house for little over 2 months and we love it each day more and more. We highly recommend Sosna to anyone who might want to remodel their home.

  The team at Sosna transformed our house with skill and efficiency. They really took time to understand our needs and are very attentive to details. Although the price is above market average, the services and quality of work worth every penny. As busy working professionals, we only made occasional visit to the contraction site. The team was always on schedule and actively communicated with us during the construction. The outcome is amazing. We recently had an issue with our kitchen sink. We reach out to Andrei and within 24 hours someone was at our house to fix it. The level of service is above and beyond. The commitment to their customers is outstanding.

  In 2022, my wife and I decided to finally take the plug and totally renovate our home.   I wish to say first that I rarely give anyone a 5 star rating. In this case we have used Sosna Inc. to design and renovate our master bedroom bathroom; and ended up with a perfect result. Not only is it beautiful to look at; but cost stayed within budget.
I also want to add that the individuals who worked on the project were easy to talk to. They responded well if you asked them to something different/extra. It was magical how they left for the day, and made sure that everything was cleaned up (as if no one had worked there.
