00:13) I’m Derek. And I’m Isabelle. And when we were thinking about how we’d want to stay here even longer and what could really take this place to the next level, um, we decided to invest with Sosna in an opportunity that would make sure that we were happy here for the long term. For us, what sets what set Sosna apart from the competition was number one uh their support throughout the design process, going to different stores with them, having a really collaborative experience with the chief designer on the project and secondly

(00:40) their experience in this neighborhood itself. We found Sosna as they’ve done projects in our neighborhood. Uh we were able to talk to our neighbors about their experience with Sosna and they were very complimentary both about the finished product and they were very complimentary not only about the finished product but also about the process that got them there.

(01:00) We wanted someone who was going to be professional and respectful of our home and of our timing considerations uh living in the house with our children, our budget and we got all of that I think through our process with design and construction with Sosna. Yeah, I think one of the things uh nowadays so many people are working from home and you know spending so much more time at home and you’re really asking the spaces in your home to do a lot for you.

(01:28) So, our bedroom is not only where we sleep, it’s also my office. So, I spent a lot of time there. And being able to transform it into something um that really made me so much happier just it it makes every day better. Every single day is better. Now, the Sosna team in particular, our site leader, Nazar, was so respectful during the construction.

(01:48) They made sure that all the other areas of our house were protected, made sure to talk to us about all the little details that, you know, came up during the work. Um, going back even before that, our designer Camila was amazing going through every stage of the process with us, refining the design, talking about specific materials, specific items.

(02:07) One thing that I learned during this process and like a piece of advice I would have uh for other people considering Sosna is that all of the work you put in upfront into the design and the selection of material um pays off so much at the end. And so even if sometimes you’re not the most keen about going and you know comparing grout uh one color grout versus another, it honestly does have an impact at the end of the day when you can see the finished product come together.

(02:33) I found most delightful about working with Sosna is that they provide this very thick comprehensive binder um with a ton of the documentation required and it included this absolutely wonderful uh graph that showed the timeline of the project and homeowner happiness and it was just this awesome visual demonstration of yeah there’s going to be some points during the process sanding where it’s going to be more frustrating.

(03:00) It’s just the nature of construction, but those are time limited and at the end you will see a phenomenal result. We’re so thankful for the work Sosna did in our house and we are happy to recommend them to anyone. Thank you, Sosna.
